TONY TRAMMELL

FOUNDER/HEAD INSTRUCTOR

Tony Trammell, owner and head instructor of Corvo Martial Arts, is a second-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Allen Mohler and a Level 1 certified Judo instructor under Justin “JFlo” Flores. With years of training, high-level competition experience, and a strong background in both Jiu-Jitsu and Judo, he brings technical, practical instruction to students of all levels. Tony’s coaching blends precision, discipline, and real-world application while honoring the traditions that shaped the art and embracing its continued evolution.

  • DOMINIC RAMOS

    PROFESSOR

    Dominic Ramos is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with more than 13 years of training experience. Promoted by Tony Trammell, he brings strong technical skill, competition experience, and a patient teaching style to every class. With accomplishments in both Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling, Dominic helps students of all levels sharpen their skills, build confidence, and continue progressing on the mats.

  • BRIEN MCKIN

    U.S. ARMY VETERAN & COACH

    Brien is a U.S. Army veteran and dedicated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner whose background reflects discipline, resilience, and commitment. After serving eight years in the Army, including a deployment to Afghanistan, he transitioned into civilian life and began training at Corvo Martial Arts in 2018. Since then, he has earned his purple belt and become a respected part of the Corvo team through his toughness, consistency, and leadership on the mats.

    COACH

    Josh is Corvo Martial Arts’ striking coach, with more than 11 years of combat sports experience and a background in amateur and professional MMA. He is also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Tony Trammell, giving him a well-rounded approach to both striking and grappling. Josh helps students of all levels improve technique, build fitness, and grow their overall martial arts skill with clear, practical coaching.

  • MICHELLE TRENT

    COACH

    Michelle Trent is a certified personal trainer with 14 years of experience and a brown belt under Tony Trammell. Since beginning martial arts in 2013, she has competed in Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, and international training in Thailand. Michelle now focuses on coaching women’s Jiu-Jitsu, self-defense, and competition preparation, with a mission to help more women build confidence, feel empowered, and learn how to protect themselves.

  • STEPHEN SHNAYDERMAN

    COACH

    Stephen Shnayderman is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt under Tony Trammell with years of competition and coaching experience. He is especially passionate about teaching Little Crows and kids classes, where he helps young students build strong fundamentals, confidence, and discipline in a fun, structured environment. Stephen also leads his own program, Little Grapplers, and brings a strong commitment to youth development and martial arts education to the Corvo team.

    Operations Manager / Team Mom

    Susan helps keep Corvo Martial Arts running smoothly with a strong background in IT management, customer relations, process automation, and software development. A U.S. Army veteran, she brings discipline, organization, and care to everything from membership management and class logistics to social media and day-to-day operations. More than anything, Susan helps make Corvo a welcoming, supportive place where students feel like part of the family.
